I have been asked a number of times why I started writing and the reason is very simple. I write the books I wanted to read. My books usually have a dog in them, once in a while a cat, but I’ve had dogs, sometime too many, for as long as I can remember! And food – that’s a passion of mine. I’ve been fortunate to take classes and attend cooking schools all over the world, so of course that’s part of my life.
And I wanted to read books about men and women who had some life experiences. There’s a huge audience for young readers, but that’s not me, so you’ll find my characters tend to be more in the mid-life phase, particularly in my cozy mysteries.
I think I’ve struck a chord with a number of readers, because all of my books have sported the prestigious Amazon “bestseller” banner. Because of your support for my books I assume you also like dogs, cats, food, and people who have experienced the ups and downs of life. You’ll find that most of my books are optimist in nature. Why? Because I believe in second chances and that you can find love and happiness at any age, not to mention the gold at the end of the rainbow!
My newest book, Murder at the Clinic, will be released very soon. It has all the elements of my other cozy mystery books. I’ll let you know when it’s available for purchase, but I wanted to give you a preview of the cover. Enjoy!
